Heroics with the ball by Sykes(4 for 15 off 4) and debutant Hoggard (2 for 22 off 4), and a brilliant 93 from Australian convict, Joe Davies couldn't stop the crows being sent down in a close game as Reading Lawyers brought the hammer down on the home team at St Sebastians.

Shaw was asked for his verdict by the waiting press, and was full of praise for his team mates, despite a defeat for the stand in skipper, " Davies was superb, and Sykes set the precedent with the ball, and almost did enough with the bat at the end. it was heart breaking to get so close, but by my judgement, everyone can be proud of how they played."
