Match report Poor run continues as home team humbled and heartbroken in final ball horrorshow.

Mackenzie's slip showcase cant stop the sequence of losses as Warfield scrape win.

Warfield won the toss and elected to bat.

Crinnion bowled an incredible spell of 7 overs,5 maidens, 2 wickets, for 2 runs at the start, but warfield steadied and began to build a total.things were starting to get away from the crows before some magical fielding from the skipper at slip; first a brilliant catch , while backpedaling and falling backwards, and then another which showed that the wily old campaigner still has the reflexes of a stoat despite his age, snaffling a lightning chance low to his right that no one could believe had stuck.
Sean Clarke ripped through the middle order with a blitzkrieg 3 over spell, taking 3 wickets as warfield struggled with his pace. Then it was the old timers chance to shine, and both Mcdowell and D.Emes joined the party, only to be let down by Mackenzie, who snuck in an over at the end, which went for 6 runs that could come back to haunt him as Warfield finished on 152 for 9.

Brundish started the innings off with a decent 34, supported ably by Nile (21), Golding(32) and Chris Emes (12) who again batted very well to put the crows in a great position and looking well on course to make the total. Warfields 5 bowlers began to make inroads into the batting though, and under real pressure the crows run rate dried up completely, as mackenzie got out and Clarke went into his shell. By the time the final ball came, the crows needed just 3 runs to win, but they could only make a single, and the game was up.

Skipper, Mackenzie buckled under the intense questioning from the press about yet another close defeat in this dismal run of sunday results, after he faced calls from the crowd to resign. He called a premature end to the press conference and walked out, with a face like thunder.
