Match report Oh dear. Crowthorne didn't fare too well at a sun drenched Lowther Road ground against a youthful Emmbrook and Bearwood.

Emmbrook won the toss and elected to field, throwing the new ball to Stevens and Stevenson who ripped through the Crows batting like a hot knife through butter. Crows debutant Matt Cook looked like he'd held a bat before and the other new boy Vincenzo Cimmino played a lovely cover drive that he has promised to teach to Dave. Other than that there was not much to savour as the fair haired Fairhead cleaned up the lower order as the Stevens(son) family had the upper and middle.

Crows bowling wasn't much cop either as only Monty troubled the man in charge of counting wickets with a tidy caught and bowled.

Crowthorne 2nds first major aberration in an otherwise fine first season.
