Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club News story

13 Sep 2018

So we are coming to the end of yet another successful season for our club. Regardless of on-field results, senior and junior membership is at an all time high for the merged club and the club is certainly going in the right direction.

As always, there are things to do other than playing, and with this in mind we ask you for your help in our end of season tidy up. At the end of September, the ground is turned into a football club with Pinewood FC taking over the reigns. We need to make sure the pavilion at grounds are ready for them.

So the date is SUNDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER FROM 10AM.  We are asking for as many senior members, colts and colts parents to come down and lend a hand.

 From 10am we will be sorting the pavilion. This includes;

- Sort and clear kit from changing room

- Clean kitchen

- Remove all cricket pictures, shirts and anything "cricket" from the pavilion

- Tidy bar

From approx 1pm we will be turning our attention to the outfield. So please bring black bags, rakes and more importantly yourself. Our head grounds man John Cartledge will be directing the operation.

We look forward to seeing lots of you down there and lets sign the season of in style and leave the place as we would expect to find it next spring.

Club Secretary.
